Pegop is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of both the CCGT and the Coal Power Station. Created in 1993 specifically to operate and maintain the Pego coal fired power station for its only client, Tejo Energia. With the construction of the Pego Combined Cycle Power Plant in 2010, Pegop extended its services to a new client, Elecgas. The company's expertise in the areas of production, engineering and human resources ensures that the power plant operates smoothly. All activities at the power station are carried out in accordance with the highest safety standards. This is one of Pegop’s many priorities and an area in which the company has gained a number of important international awards. |
