Process | System Description

The gas turbine (GT) cycle exhaust heat is used in the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to produce steam for the steam turbine (ST).

A cooling tower dissipates the condensation heat at the ST.
Components are cooled by closed cooling water system.

Heat is transferred to the main cooling water via closed cooling water heat exchangers.

The steam turbine and the gas turbine are designed as a single shaft arrangement connected via a Syncro-Self-Shifting clutch (SSS).

The generator is located between the gas turbine and the steam turbine.
